also i do not answer peoples questions so i can show off or make myself look all big, in fact i find it quite boarin to write a load of stuff down. in fact it takes me a while cos i have to work tonnes of it out. i can just remember that i had a lot of trouble when i started and i want to help others. and in return i hope when i ask questions someone will help me.

but i should also be fair as there are never only one side to the story, even if u didnt mean it jolly, ur comment did come across as kinda insulting, especially the word noob, which i ahve never heard in a non offencive way.

overall please no one take this the wrong way, i do not want to make any enemies, or insult anyone. i just find it anoyin that your all gettin so upset by nothing.

anyway i hope this is resolved soon.

Theres really benefits to come from some debates like this for both sides. I know I learn more, and hold it longer in memory when there is emotion involved in the process. I started my quote on your answer to that scale, or mode question because I liked your answer, and the time you took to give that guy the best possible outlook, because I think you see the need to give some one an advantage of an informed answer thats not miss leading. I think you know my playing around in my quote to you was for fun, and some humor in a subject that I think could use a little fun, and games sometimes. And I told you in the quote I was just playing, and liked your lesson. I think you know that emotion is a good thing in song writing, and music, and I say it works good to for learning, debating, and getting to know people. I sure know more about the people involved in this debate now than before it started. But no man, Im not affended, this is all fun for me. I was a touch shocked at Julian calling me a "n00b" as he put it. I dont know what that is but I know what it sounds like. I just had to get some pay back on that one. Besides I just gave him big praise on some of his music he has recently posted, and I couldent figure out why he was throwing the insults around. But as long as he cools it Im satisfied. Oh, and I dident think your answer format was showing off. That reference was about some other answers I have seen in the past from some others that I thought were, in my opinion, lets just say overly emphasized for the intended outcome. But hey, I know that in some cases its got to be that way so there is no room for misunderstanding. I just like the most common sense ways of explanation more suited for those that are less advanced, "like me". Take care dude, you damm sure got both paddles in the water.

If this was in the open discussion, I'd most likely be right there with you adding to the mayhem. But there's a time and a place for everything and I'm not taking anyone's side on this one.

That being said, if people misunderstand most of the things you say, don't you think it'd be a good idea to rephrase things? I don't know if you intended it but a lot of your responses come across as arrogant and sarcastic, so if you don't mean to sound like that then it would be best to rephrase things.

Finally, I don't think anyone missed the chromatic joke, but everything that happened after that just wasn't necessary. I got the message you were saying loud and clear and I was rebuttling simply with how that's not entirely true. I'm not trying to impress anyone, more so to assist the process of informing accurate information. Which is why I go to lengths to explain things in drug out posts. So there's no room for misunderstandings. At least that's the big goal.

Personally, I dont think any of your criticisms of me, and opinions in the matter have been necessary, and without your involvement the matter would most likly have long faded away. You are getting personal with me, and puting me on guard, and you dont realize that this is fun for me, I love a challenging debate, and as you can see I am merely responding to an aggressor.
For me to be sounding arrogant, and sarcastic I must responding to the same. I agree this has gone far enough. In my opinion the whole debate dose offer some educational value. A very small part in music theroy, and a part in human behaviour, and of course some in spelling. All skills needed by aspiring musicians. I hold no hard feelings, and intend to act towards you in the future respectfully if you do the same.

That was Julian Vickers, whom I immediately told that post had no place in music theory. Please reread my comments, I did not use the word "noob" or any other kind of derogatory language.
