Yeah, I know Dragonforce. They're technically skilled, but I can't really listen to more than one of their songs in a row. That said, the wah'ed-up tapping solo in "Once in a Lifetime" is brilliant!

I like dragonforce alot, but can help to think that so much of their music seems as a joke. Even the guitar solos.

Perfect work-out music though...

Psh, your knowledge of powermetal is subpar if you think Dragonforce is the cheesiest band in existence.

Their actually not a joke. But their not 100% convicticted in their lyrics, more of just partying. The music is the real deal. I read in an interview with Herman Li, their guitarist. Im trying to find it right now.

Actually, Dragonforce are very good power-metal. And unfortunatly, their not the cheeiest. Check out Hammerfall and Manowar.

oh yea, them too. But their new stuff after The Time of the Oath, is so kickass heavy metal. No magical witches and potions involved.

Oh God, yes, I agree with that. Helloween's songs are by far the cheesiest, but Manowar is, for me, tied with Hammerfall and Rhapsody for cheesiest appearance...mostly with Hammerfall.

Have you any of you guys checked out Dragonforce's new album, Inhuman Rampage? Its actually their best album yet with most songs topping 6 minuets. Very good, maybe the best one yet. It can out during Spring Break, so its brand spankin new.

dragonforce are hella cheesy and yet strangely compelling. i met them all outside leeds uni a couple of months ago. nice guys.

if you want some thing new to try have a look for a band called conquest of steel. i saw them live recently. they refer to the audience as warriors and sing classics such as 'in victory or death' and 'bitch of steel'.

most metal band i've ever seen :D
