Rockonn and Stackny said they planned to record something a while ago - and I think Kyle said he'd do it if he had time, as well.

Me too, man... the suspense is killing me! (I think my sound quality will be slightly better this time... and I'm actually going to pre-plan this solo, unlike the last one, so maybe my playing will be marginally better, too.)

*Funny...I think the same thing. Yet I spent about 2 hours on it.*

You're too kind, but I'm obliged.
I do like those swells, as one of my favorite solos of all time uses them to great effect: La Villa Strangiato, Rush.
And the tone was downloaded to my Podxt as a model simulating Dimebag's tone on the song's outro solo, Floods...except I changed the delay to match the tempo of this song.

Thanks Rustee. Your was quite amazing. Very musical, pat yerself on the back.

BTW, I saw the King of the Hill yesterday for the first time where Dale says he's Rustee. When he said it I was like...WHAT THE HELL?

The gue I'm in a band with heard this thing, and wanted to give it a shot as well. This was his first time playing with the track, and the first and only take, completely improvised on the spot. This doesn't count for the "competition" or anything, I just thought ya'll might like to hear it.

Its pretty cool. If anything, he could of entered a little more chilled instead of jumping right into it, and it could use some breaks between phrases.
That said it's amazing, with a sweet ass tone (how'd he get that tone?). Anyways, tell him it's great.

Holy S***! I just heard the ending. The guys an animal.

He played through my rig, but I set it up a bit different than I did my take. I'm sure he would have worked with the break had he known it was coming up lol.

That was pretty cool sheepy but I think you over did the shredding IMO.. dont get me wrong ima shredder too but there is a balance between shredding and melodic playing.. and yep you took Akira's harmonic idea the shame of it all :p but a good take none the less.

Heh, my first thought about what to do at the break was harmonics too, but decided to kick in with the volume swells again instead. But that is just naturally a good place for 'em.
