I like Shawshank Redemption as well... but I've seen it so many times that I think I'm a little jaded when it comes to holding it in such high regards... It's a great film though. Other good ones... Pulp Fiction, Crash, Godfather (1 and 2 are my favs), Dazed and Confused, Gridlock'd... I could go on... but those are some of my favorties. I neglected war films, full blown comedies, and love stories...

Pulp Fiction is also a freekin great movie. Goodfellas must also be heald in high regard. Boondock Saints also has a place in my heart.

Magnolia anyone?

Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

night, dawn, and day of the dead are wicked splatter films. if your a fan of gut wrentching gore flicks, then check em out. also goodfellas, carlitos way, scarface, casino, resevoir dogs, and the godfather films are great mobster movies.for pure craziness check out natural born killers, its a totally fudged up love story about two serial killers traveling around america and killing people at random.
one of my new favorites though is seven. what a great ending! check it out.

It is. A friend of mine owns it. It's entertaining the whole way through. Stupid entertaining, but entertaining all the same.

When we first bought the movie we bought it with a bunch of other movies and we watched all the ones that looked good before watching all the ones that looked stupid (calamari wrestler). Turns out calamari wrestler was the best one in both plot and entertainment value... which is stupidly sad.

We found our copy at Best Buy. The weird thing was there were more copies of this stupid ass movie (which was imported from Japan) than there were of some of the bigger names. And to make it even better it cost more than some of the bigger names. I dunno, but it sure was worth it.
