I've taken a liking to the last line of "Crashing Around You" by Machine Head:

"I'll let you see why you cannot hide from me... Because I am you!"

Seems like a bit of a nothing line on paper, but if you listen to the whole thing, you'll see how effective it is.
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"

I've been listening to "Have a Cigar" by Pink Floyd almost nonstop since I bought Wish You Were Here, and I've taken a liking to the first few lines:

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go far
You're gonna fly high, you're never gonna die, you're gonna make it if you try
They're gonna love you

Have a Cigar is my second favorite Pink Floyd song, but my favorite line from it is: "The band is just fantastic, that's really what I think. Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?"

Still doesn't hold a candle to: "Had Pyrrhus not fallen by a bedlam's hand in Argos or Julius Caesar not been knifed to death. They are not to be thought away. Time has branded them and fettered they are lodged in a room of the infinite possibilities they have ousted. But can those have been possible seeing that they never were? Or was that only possible which came to pass? Weave, weaver of the wind." (APC)

Dude, you can never listen to that song enough times, it's pure genius. And the guitar solo - one of Gilmour's finest.

I can't put my finger on an all-time favourite, most of them are brilliant - but right now, I'm really getting into "Careful With That Axe, Eugene".

Have a cigar has been a favorite song of mine since i first heard it. It just blew me away. My favorite line though...would have to be the entire song "Baldry's out" by Long John Baldry. i tried to find the lyrics online so i dont have to type it all out but i will type in the intro."I am not really mental, you know, it's just that i got bad nerves. A few years ago though, i must admit, i doubted myself, and i thought i really was mad. Anyway, I tried every way to sort out my head, including a rope, but that broke, and then i could afford a shilling for the gas meter. So finally i went away to an inforced rescue'ers in one of those places reserved for funny people, like myself. My sister said at that time 'Don't worrry John, you were always more out then in.' And i found her observation so true that as i look around me i'm convinced its everybody else who's mental and i'm the only one who is sain.So you better watch out everybody, he's boojie woojie'en again."

Ah, he is so under-rated!
When it comes down to it, our guitar's will always be there for us.
