I'm going to be turning 21 this thursday and I'm planning on having a few drinks to celebrate. Any recommendations? What shall I get drunk on for the first time?

well, their are several choices to consider. You could always go with beer, it's cheap. I like Crown Royal myself. Vodka is another good choice. Rum can be good too. I say get you a bottle of grey goose vodka or chopin vodka and mix it with some OJ. Screwdriver time!!!!
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song. :rolleyes:

wow, that always freaks me out that you guys cant drink until you are 21...weird.
Here its 18, but its really easy to drink way before then...weird.
I personally hate the taste of beer (come on guys admit it, most beer tastes ****!...if myself three years ago could hear me say that now...)

I dont really drink, but if you do catch me drinking, it'll be Southern Comforts,lemonade and lime...tis a bit of a ladies drink I suppose...but its so good.

Stick to one thing and stay with it for the night. If ya mix different drinks you'll get a majorly wicked hangover and be spending the next day talking on the porcelain telephone.
Stay away from sweet stuff like liqueurs for the same reason.

Long Island Iced Tea

1 part vodka
1 part tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola

Hmmm... 5 shots of liquor.... Yum. There is no actual tea involved. The splash of Coke is not for flavour, but for colour, to make it look like an iced tea. It's surprising how smooth this drink is, and it fools you into thinking you've had less than you have actually had. A glass of this would equal 10 shots.
... and that's all I have to say about that.

I am not into mixed drinks so I would recomend you get your self a bottle of GAMMEL DANSK. It is a bit pricey but it is also your B-day. If you do buy a bottle then drink it at room temp as shots or put a shot in some coffee, soada or any juice.
If you do not like the flavor then stick it in the freezer, when chiled it has no taste at all but gets you compleatly stoned. It also works well for a stomach flu ;)

If that is not an option then buy some jagermeister. Nice smoothe taste and does the job very well.

I'm pretty sure you could kill someone by injecting a little of that into their bloodstream.

I don't have a fridge so I'll probably look for some Gammel Dansk. I probably won't try anything like that 'iced tea' because I only weigh 112 lbs (4.2% body fat). I'm pretty sure 10 shots would incapacitate me rather quickly.

Get some Jose Cuervo or Mezcal and make it a night to forget. Tequila is all I ever drink now but few and far between. Probably becuase of what I did to myself with it in high school.

I'm back with the booze. I decided to grab some Sam Adams' Winter Lager. I probably would have grabbed something else except that the place I went had an unbelievably meager selection and I only now realized I don't now how to get the metal caps off.

A funny thing happened walking back to my dorm just now. I was walking along minding my own business carrying the beer in an opaque bag when this black girl (to avoid using my usual 'racist' and 'sexist' way of describing people) glared at me and audibly muttered "you're drunk". I am/was not and have never been drunk, but given the fact that I was carrying booze with the intent of becoming drunk the irony was quite rich.

Compliments to Winston Churchill. Helluva guy.

It seems beer is not entirely to my liking. I'll have to try something less 'hopy' next. My twin brother (in the army) likes screwdrivers and wine, so I'll probably look into those.

margaritas=awesome!
beer=nasty!
wine=good, but not exactly a party drink

technically every drink I've had was legal.. the margaritas were virgen, but I imagine they would taste at least somewhat close to the same after the alchohal is added. and the beer and the wine cooler I've had was in the comforts of my own home, under the supervision of my parents.. which, if you want to find loopholes in the law, is legal! I've never been drunk though.. I took one sip of the beer and had to spit it out, and I only got like half a wine cooler, which wasn't exactly enough to get me buzzed.
