....anybody else ever done this?
I woke up at 7 a.m. this morning and thought for sure that it was 7 p.m. at night.
I closed all the shades and started working on songs waiting until 11:35 so I could take a break. 5 hours later I go upstairs and the friggin sun is shining outside.
Now I gotta go through the whole day again.
This sucks.

Yeah, when I was younger I used take naps at like 4 in the afternoon, then wake up two hours later thinking it was six in the morning. I couldn't understand why it was so dark outside.......

I kept the craziest-ass hours in college. Especially if a finals week was coming up. I'd be all cracked out on Adderall and Ephedra and when I finally did get some sleep I'd wake up and think, "Is that AM or PM"?
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Happens to me every time I take a nap. :D I'll fall asleep at 5pm and wake up at 7pm, and be like-what...huh?...I slept here all night...What?... :confused:

Yeah, college hours suck. I like to work in the night better than the day, so I sleep at random times and occassionally cant figure out if its morning or night.
Dont shoot yourself in the head.

i'm a junior in college. my sleep schedule until now from freshman year has more or less been this:
wake up 30 min before class (whether it be 8am or 1pm). when i get done or tired of classes i always come back and take a nap for a good 3/4 even 5 hours. stay up till 4 am, do it again.
since the start of the semester though i've gotten into a regular sleep schedule 11pm-7am. NO NAPS. it's super tough but i'm confident it will work once my body adjusts. sometimes like right now nothing i can do because i work at nights and get off late :cool:

Yeah but that was like 3 yrs ago when i was on dope...that does suck, but look at it this way, you got 2 days in one!

yeah, it's happened to me alot.. I'll think I'm waking up at like 8am, and be all like "crap, I have to be at work 3 minutes ago!" and be all running around, trying to get dressed... then I'll look out the window, see that it's dark.. and breath a huge sigh of relief.. the problem is, when I take a nap I don't get to sleep until super late that night. like 3 or 4 in the morning.. then I end up sleeping in and being late anyway! :rolleyes:

When I was getting ready to deploy to Iraq, we were working insane hours. I got home at around 10pm. Knowing that I had to be up and in formation at 4am I ate showered and crawled into bed around 11:30pm. It seems that as soon as I fell asleep the alarm went off. I got up took a shower got in my uniform and got ready to walk out the door. That's when I noticed my kids were allready up!?! I asked my oldest son why he was up so early, and he looked at me like I was stoned. He said "Dad, it's only midnight." I started looking at the clocks around the house and my watch all of them said 12:00. Then my wonderfull wife comes downstairs grinning. She thought it would be funny to wait untill I went to sleep, and advance our alarm clock a few hours. A joke that my First Seargent had told her about. (His wife did it to him) I wanted to kill her, but she made it up to me ;)
