as to #4 (yeah, I know, it's over) I think it's definately Jerry Cantrell. The man is a master of doing things like nobody else would. Also, he writes lyrics and music- I'm pretty sure Angus sticks to solos.

Clapton wins. Do not vote after a competition is over and please **** off with the Buckethead thing. I listen to only real guitarists.

This is a tough one.
I'd say Hendrix of course but Slash can easily kick all other guys butt that's been presented here so far..
Well, tough luck Slash, I say Hendrix.

i wish you didn't put these two together, because it's obvious that hendrix is better, however slash is very good

my vote: Hendrix
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

lets bet
i heard that bookmakers give 4 to 1 for Hendrix and 5 to 1 for Van Halen, for Stevie Ray is also 4 to 1 (if he will take part in the competition)

Is it really fair to put Hendrix next to anyone? No. Hendrix wins.

Just because of that little "real guitarists" bit, I vote for Buckethead also. :D
