Red Hot Chili Peppers?

anyone here like the Red Hot Chili Peppers?

I love em...John Frusciante was why I got started playing...I liked the way he played the solo on "Suck my Kiss" and it inspired me to get my first guitar. I later found out that it was fleas bass part that i liked and not the guitar part but hey...I like guitar better so I stuck with it. I even got my first guitar which was a strat copy I got on ebay for 50 bucks because of John Frusciante. That guitar sucked...I ended up smashing it. Still...John Frusciante is awesome and I love his solo work too. But yeah...the chili peppers make some damn great music i think. Those guys are meant to play together. :rolleyes:

I just love RHCP especially John Fruciante. Very good yet so underrated guitar player. His solos are so sweet, very kind and nice person too. Probably one of the top 20 greatest guitar player ever....atleast for me. ;)

just kiddin' i know the peppers are a different style of funk...their old stuff was cool...the newer stuff just feels tired.

Agreed. Some of their older riffs were awesome.

I'm a big chili peppers fan. I love the outro to Sir Psycho Sexy, makes me wanna stick a needle in my arm.

never really got into them much, but when i hear there stuff on the radio, etc i like it.... katchy beat

the only semi-recent stuff i'd suggest you get is one hot minute...don't get anything newer than that. i'd also suggest avoiding blood sugar sex magic...but that's just me....lots of people loved that album...i think it was a kind of album where they sacrificed poppyness for the funk that's inside them.


edit, actually i'd say go for one hot minute if only because dave navarro is killer on the album.

i love them too. can anyone tell me how i can get music lyrics for their songs

i wanna play a few of his songs like the city of angels but the lyrics are impossible to guess. no way on earth that you would know the guitar music notes so if anyone does plz let me know.

RHCP has been my gf's fav band her whole life, and i really love them too. i wish they would tour the US more though.
