I haven't posted any lyrics on here before, but let me know what you think...
This is a fast paced guitar-driven song that I'm working on called "Spiral Bound". Let me know what you think.

to me it paints a picture of slowly killing yourself with booze and drugs and saying to yourself you will miss me when im gone

is that what i am supposed to get from this?

In a sense yes... haha. This is not about me though, I don't do drugs and I don't drink that much at all. I was writing one day and I made a play on words about how when people die they leave notes and things behind in spiral bound notebooks... and then I went into writing about the double meaning of that (spiral bound notebooks and someones life going down the drain) and I thought it was a neat little play on words so I wrote a song as someone who's life is out of control and all he wants to do is be left alone so he can fall... his life is spiral bound as he is alive... then after he's gone... his life will be spiral bound in the notebooks of lyrics/poems/journals (whatever) that he leaves behind... so that's the story behind the lyrics... it's not about my life. haha

Mr. A, I'm glad this not about your life!! The alliteration was great. You have a great future as a songwriter. It's hard to express something that you are not experiencing first hand. You did it very well. You could write fiction. Don't limit yourself to lyrics.

That is definitely emotional. As I read it I could start to hear the song in my head... If it sounds anything like it did in my head, it's a pretty good song. haha. \m/ rock on
