Help with modes
Ok, I've purchased the Guitar Grimoire by Adam Kadmon and I've memorized all of the major modes in all keys, and I am also cracking into the minor modes. The trouble is I can't make them sound like much more than nifty slides and enourmous runs. How can I form good solos with them and what are some good techniques to practice them?

First off, welcome aboard. It would seem you're a fellow Clutch fan?
But to answer your question, you're just going to have to tinker around with what you know you can do in a given key and see how it comes out. It can be pretty ugly at first, but eventually you'll get the hang of it.
You'll want to check out the jam tracks here, but another thing you can do is record different chord progressions into your computer, loop them and solo on top of it.

On the GT main page, try doing a search using the name of the mode you are interested in.
My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.

Also, it's good to remember where certain scales start. When You're told to play for instance, F Lydian, don't think of the scale as C major, think of Lydian, where all of it's intervals are, and remember to focus on the chords in the progression, not think so much of what scale you're using. If you only stay within the same patterns, you'll have trouble developing your phrasing, (I should know, my phrasing sucks seriously). It's important to know what scale would best go over something, but it's also best to know the progression and feel out what to play, know what I mean? :D
