Just today in fact, I had removed the keys from my ignition, opened my door, and proceeded to attempt to get out of my truck with my seatbelt on. Brain dead.
Music rules, beer rules. Music about beer cannot be topped.

Hmm...

As i described in an earlier thread:

The second gig I ever played was the Fall Fair at the small town I grew up in. At night, of course... Outdoors, don'cha know... in the *&#%'n rain!!!

This wasn't some high-dollar extravaganza. We were on a bare wooden platform without any sort of a canopy. The stage got seriously slippery in the wet, and the only one who didn't flirt with death by electrocution was the drummer.

The climax of the evening was when I did a big 'Pete Townsend' windmill, lost my footing, and did the splits into a puddle.

Well, yeah, the audience loved it, but I couldn't walk right for a week! :o

IMO, that stuff isn't real music, and because I wasn't listening to real music back then, I began losing my motivation to play the guitar.

(just my opinion)

there are good guitar riffs in rap music. p diddy's, puff daddy, whatever u wanna call him has a good riff in the song ( if i can call it a song) 'bad boy for life'. although he did have the advantage of dave navarro on guitar. but some of eminem' songs also have good guitar riffs 'like cleaning out my closet'.

but i do agree that rap isn't the best genre of music for inspirational guitar playing.

now if anyone wants to get this thread back on the subject......

that's a sweet pedal! I love mine! I don't think it can create a sound that isn't good or usable.
