Today I drank a REEEEEEEEAAAAALLLLLYYYYY big coffee. Then I started jumping.

UP and down and UP and down.

Then I went to bed.... wait a second... no, I haven't done that yet.
... and that's all I have to say about that.

Both are bad !

bugger !

Well, the identity of one known allele does not always enable prediction of
the phenotype, how do you know which one to isolate?
Anyway, that does sounds like a bad day to me.

One time I got allele stains on my boxers and my mom was pissed. I tried telling her I was doing an experiment....

The strain background is a double lethal knockout covered by a plasmid also containing an auxiotrophic marker that can be selected out enabling plasmid shuffling.

Let's break this down.

The strain background is a double lethal knockout

Obviously the "strain background" is a karate maneuver that will render your opponent doubly-dead

covered by a plasmid

Let's hope that company offers as good an insurance policy as they claim, now that you're up against the Strain Background!

containing an auxiotrophic marker

This is a good marker because it doesn't bleed through the page.

that can be selected out enabling plasmid shuffling.

You'd be surprised how many Vegas employees get "selected out" of a job due to this.

First off both my fiance and I have really bad colds.

My day goes like this:
Get to work check on the backups... the backups are boofed... rebuild the backups... next a wireless connection on a roof miles away goes floop... we are powerless to fix it... it corrects itself... it pukes again hours later... it fixes itself... it chokes to a sputtering end once more... i climb the ladder and fix it... all the while fighting a help desk phone that forgot how not to ring... on way home get stuck in traffic while crews attempt to unflip a flipped garbage truck in the highway.

My fiance's day goes like this:
Get to school, start teaching... mid-day student beats crap out of other student... grr tension... after school fight on bus... grr grr... ends up staying at the school into the evening waiting for the students to be picked up... grr... grr... complete writing 20 pages paper for grad school... have loved one check it out... complete 50 changes to 21 page paper...

What a day.
Coding my way to the next BSOD!

I was shot and killed. After which I stepped on a landmine. While my corpse was crawling across the highway (crawling due to my legs being blown off by the landmine) I was hit by a bus. Its days like this where I just should have stayed in bed.

My days are pretty much all the same owing to the fact I have no life (at least not a recognizable one). My sleeping is all messed up. I stay up until around 8 or 9 am (something about sunrises makes me sleepy), then I don't get up again until 4pm. I've been like this for about 10 days now. It'll correct itself eventually then I'll be golden for about 4-6 weeks. Maybe I should try some sleeping pills tomorrow night...(just not like Jimi)

*thick British accent* Ach! When I was a lad, we used to DREAM of stepping on a land mine!

There are things you can do (non-medicinal) to correct your internal clock, such as making sure your bedroom is completely dark at night, not having any sugar/caffeine within a few hours of sleep (say, 6), not doing any exercise within a few hours of sleep, etc.

A Google on "insomnia" should turn up a few pointers, too.

in the summer, when I didn't have my sleeping was really skrewed up. I slept at 4am one night and woke up at 12pm, then I would have a crazy headache all day long, then I would stay up till 2am and wake up at 3pm, it was really messed up. hmmmmm, it was fun though, sometimes, not really, what am I talking about? ok nvmd

I play guitar until 6 a.m. after which I sit around and just play around with different leads. I usually sleep at around 9 a.m. and get up at 4 or 5.

I think I may be turned around...

So yesterday (Thursday) I went to sleep at 11am intent on sleeping until about 7 or 8pm. But my mom comes home from work at 4pm and starts screaming at me because I'm sleeping, then she drags me on a car ride to my uncle's while I'm still trying to wipe the sleep out of my eyes. To top it all off she was cranking a mama's and the papa's CD. It sucked ass. Then I popped some sleeping pills @ 9:30pm last night and was out by 11pm. I woke up at 4:30am today so I guess I'm all turned around.

I've only read this thread now.
Lately I've been getting a quesy feeling that I need to check how I act online, and not just here.
But I think I'm fine, this thread reassures me.
