Just sharing some thoughts with you all:
In the army, I had (alot of) time to figure out what to do with my life.
When my service came to an end I was certain:
Classical guitar!
So how do I do this...? Ah, guitar college!
Well that turned out to be like the first time I took the drivers test, I think
I'm pretty good, it's no biggie, but it turns out I'm far from home safe.
When I look at the requirements I noticed that I lacked some knowledge.
So how do I tackle that problem...? Ah, lessons of course!
Alright, I took lessons for 9 years in the public music school, maybe I can start again?
Ok so I called up the woman dealing with sign-ups and stated my request to
start playing with my old teacher Jƶrgen (a master of his profession).
So it turned out that even though I'm prioritized (spelling?) because I've played
before he's swamped this semester, no room for me at all. I might be able
to play with another teacher later this semester, but nothings certain.
Well that was a bummer, I'm going to Canada in december and I don't want another teacher!
So that was that, I thought.
But then today my old teacher called me up saying that he saw that I'd
requested to start play for him again. He was very glad to see that I wanted
to play for him, and he said that it was no problem, he would fix so I could
start as soon as possible.
So I'm a pupil again, and I can't wait!

It depends on where you go in Canada, if you were to go. I hate it when ppl say "oh, I'm goin' to Canada" It's a huge country!!! It's like saying "Oh, I'm goin' to Asia"

I guess I shouldn't blame you, you probably watch the weather channel and see your temp. in farenheit and ours in celsius and figure as soon as you cross the border it drops 50 degrees!!

Anyways I used to live in Vancouver and a very cold day in winter there is about -3 celsius. So there I'm spent.

What are you talking about? Canada is one big ski hill! I should know, I've been there 3 times! Everyone lives in little icehouse thingies (forget what those Eskimos call them... which reminds me... Eskimo Pie... mmmm...), they all ski to work (actually, some snowboard, and some "Sled Dog (tm)" it).

They all say "eh" at the end of every sentence, so to blend in, just do the same. No one will know you're a foreigner, even the cops.

The great thing I would think about living in Canada is never having to cut your grass, what with the perennial winter and all. However, snow shovelling would suck. But then, when there's a huge snowstorm (which happens every 3 weeks) everything shuts down and everyone plays hockey and drinks beer all day. I think hockey is the game with the sticks with the nets on the ends of them.

Anyways, if you have any more questions about Canada, just ask. I've been to Canada 3 times! I should know what I'm talking about!
... and that's all I have to say about that.
