dont you hate it when...
dont you hate it when you go to a movie that is packed and there are very few seats so u finally manage to get a seat but ur stuck sitting by a bunch of idiots who talk through out the whole movie...I HATE that so much...I went and saw the exorcist last night and these people beside me would not shut up through out the whole movie even when I asked them too...they were " oh man look man look, his hand is moving " other guy " ohh dude thats cool"

I'm like that at some movies, mainly ones that suck. Like The Ring... I talked through the whole thing, and started cracking up when the horse ran into the water. I thought it was funny. :o

i thought it was a cool movie..could have been better if those ass holes would have shuten up....have some decency or somthing at a movie...i should have told them in a more harsher way to shut up

anything wrong with society can be directly or indirectly traced back to greed.
most places of business now pay only one person to do what used to be the job of three or more people, without much more pay, if any.
how is that relevant?
they used to pay people to go around and kick people that could not contain themselves out of movie theaters. i haven't seen one of those guys in years.

I don't mean to seem snappy, but that's one of the most poorly tied together theories I've ever seen, and I used to watch the old Batman Television show, so I know poorly tied together theories.

I usually use the unexpected "SHHHUUUAAAAATT UUUUPPPPP!!!!!" at the first
offense, they usually stop talking after that.
I'm not a psycho, and I don't like to be rude, but as you said, often it takes
more than an "excuse me..." for them to be quiet, so I try to make it clear
that it's not accepted from the beginning.

If I had my way talking during the movie would be a capital offense.
I hate inconsiderate noisy bastards who are in my face, it is one of the fastest ways to piss me off !
If I can manage to keep a drum kit and a vast array of electronic noise making equipment from getting in their faces (or any one else's for that) the least they can do is keep whey outa mine !

I went to see Alien vs Predator, which was absolutely terrible, and i knew it would be but im just such a big fan of the first 3 alien/ 1st two predator movies I had to go see it
anyway there were these 4 kids in the theater who for the first 10 minutes would not shut up, and would not stop changing seats, and the entire theater was telling them to sit down and shut up but they refused
**** like this is why i stopped seeing movies years ago, and I hate kids so much its rediculous
and someones cell phone rang 5 times, count them 5 times, and this is not exageration 5 ****ing times

A friend of mine did something i've never seen before in a movie theater. These two kids were talking and talking and talking (and in the seats right in front of us as well), and we kept saying "Shut the **** up!", well we're about 30 minutes into the movie, and my friend just finished his jumbo-sized Dr. Pepper, and I offered to get his re-fill. He mentioned that he wasn't thisty, but I said that I was and I'd drink it. So I got the refill, and when i came back, these two kids were shouting at the screen. My friend grabbed the Dr. Pepper from my mouth, took the cap off, and dumped it on the kid that was shouting. This is a Jumbo-64 oz. beverage, and wow, those two kids ran out of the theater very fast.
This was at Anchorman in July. I haven't been back to that movie theater since.

In the first 20 min of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, my friends kept asking me question (because i have read the books once a year since 1998), and it’s not like there was anything happening in the first 20 mins anyway, but we got told to "shhhh....." by the guy in front. Conversely, that’s really the only time in the cinemas.
i say in the cinemas because me and my friend get together for a DVD night, and we mute the sound and make our own words for the movie, and they usually have something to do with homosexuality, or a very heterosexually challenged. So i do talk through movies, but not usually in the cinemas.

wasn't taken as snappy, you had a point,i left it kind of vague, because i didn't want to go on and on. no matter what, there are going to always be people that are considerate, and there are always going to be people who are rude. but in the above described scenario, there used to be ushers at movie theaters to ask people to be quiet, and make them leave if they could not. so that problem used to be taken care of. now most theaters i go to do not have them.
i wasn't giving a theory. i was pointing out a minor symptom of a much greater problem.

Well i picked up some advice from seinfield, see first you give the person behind you the eye roll, and the raised eyebrow, and if they dont shut up just walk through their isle and knock over all their food. :)

Ive only even spoke through one film... it was Terminator 3. I just couldnt help but utter the words "Oh for f*ck sake"...... and "I dont believe it"..... and " Yea, like the terminator is gona crack a joke to a gay stripper". Man Terminator 3 really is one of the worst films ever. I just sat there shaking my head at it, truly awful film :mad:

yeah, T3 was pretty bad.
when i went to see it there were some kids who wolf whistled when the chick terminator was sent back in time and she was naked. so a friend of mine wolf whistled when arnie was naked, audience cracked up.
