Sometimes, in order to get new ideas, you have to find a way to push yourself out of your normal habits and comfort zones. A good way to do that is to use non-musical, almost mathematical formulas to explore new territories and then come up with creative musical ways to use the new sounds you find there.
One of those mathematical "formulas" has to do with grouping and repeating notes in a scale. This concept is called "sequences", and in this tutorial we'll explore how you can use this in a rock context!
