Description
This song is notable in that there's no distinct riff or motifs used, putting the guitar into a straight ahead accompaniment role.
The actual guitar tone used here is not very specific, so it really doesn't matter what type of electric guitar you use for this song. Any guitar with humbuckers or single coils will sound great here.
As far as amps go, any vintage sounding tube amp such as a Marshall, Fender, or Vox will really get the job done. Dial in some light crunch, but nothing too distorted. The notes of the chords need to ring out clearly! Also, use some reverb to blend in with the other instruments nicely. Check out the settings I used:
Vox AC30 Model: Drive: 35% Bass: 50% Mid: 45% Treble: 60% Presence: 65%
Spring Reverb: Wet/Dry Mix: 40%
