Description
In this lesson we'll harmonize measures 3 & 4 by figuring out which chords work with each melody note.
m.3: D (2) - D (2) - D (2)
m.4: E (3) - G (5) - G (5)
Again we have scale degrees 2 and 3 which work respectively with the dominant (V) G major and the tonic (I) C major chords. But in these measures the order is reversed. Remember that we want the melody note as the top voice of the chord.
