Adding The Chord

Now let's apply the new strumming pattern to a chord. We'll start with the E major chord, since that has all 6 six strings ringing and you won't have to worry about muting in your left hand or limiting your right hand.

Let's try this out with the metronome. Once again, I'll do it 4 times, where I leave a bar of space between the repetitions and then I'll loop it for 4 bars And I can't remind you enough times that you can try this on your own with the metronome at any tempo that suits you.
