Description
First let's add a single note to our bluesy dominant 7 chord, which will give us a whole new jazzy variation of the basic sound. Guitar is not always an ideal instrument for teaching and understanding theory, because of how the notes are laid out. A piano is much easier to approach, but it can be done on guitar as well. You just have to bear with me using some awkward voicings while I'm explaining the theory. Then I'll show you the more useful voicings after all that.
