Description

For this tutorial I'll just use my regular country tone coming from my Fender Telecaster on the bridge pickup going straight into a modeled version of a small Fender tube amp. I'm adding a little bit of reverb, but other than that it's just bare-bones, basic country tone. There are many fun tone tricks you can use for country lead playing, but it's important that you get your fingers to sound as good as possible before you start really experimenting with all of that. Otherwise it can be the greatest distraction and therefore the greatest obstacle for making real progress with your guitar playing.
