As you noticed in the previous tutorial, it's very hard to play a "bad" note when you use the major pentatonic scale over a I, IV, V progression. All the notes sound like they fit and work well most of the time. But sometimes you're going to want to deliberately add some "tension" or some "spice" to the basic sound, and in this tutorial we'll look at some simple ways to do this. Let's get started!
