Description
Now let's check out how to embellish our minor chord with the root on the 5th string. You immediately notice that we use all of our fingers to play this chord.
Fortunately for us, you can very often get away with making a regular minor chord a minor 7 chord instead. It has a slightly more jazzy sound, but it's a very subtle difference. In this case that will free up our pinkie to play embellishments.
