Description
So we start out with some classic guitar playing that's become synonymous with the "Johnny Cash sound". It's where the electric guitar will play a melody or riff on the lower strings. The notes and phrasing of the riff is based on the vocal melody.
This is something Johnny Cash liked to do a lot - it's fairly simple, but very effective.
