Description
In this lesson we're going to break down and play through a practice tune that employs all of the substitution tricks that we've gone through in this tutorial.
All of the substitution tricks we've covered in this tutorial can be used when you compose riffs, come up with rhythm parts, or write your own songs. But they're also important to have right there under your finger tips, so that you can throw them in spontaneously if you feel like there's a need for it.
Depending on the rhythm and attitude you use, they can happen under the vocal or in between vocal phrases. The important thing is you have them available if you need them. Then from there on it's a matter of taste and good musical decision making, when you're going to use them. Have fun with it!
