Description

For this tutorial I'll be using the Telecaster, and I'll be running it through a modeled Vox AC30 amp with a little bit of reverb. I'll be using a fuzz pedal, but you can use any type of overdrive or distortion pedal for the examples.

I'll also added a subtle delay tail with 1 and a half repeats and a low delay volume or "mix". This way you don't fully hear the repeats; you just kinda sense that they're there. Apart from that I'll be using the bridge pickup, which almost always works really well for lead playing in a rock context. But as always you want to remember that you can play the examples on any guitar and through any amp.
