Description
The acoustic guitar sets the swing of the tune with its strumming in the verses. Notice how the 8th note upstrokes (on the "ands") occur later than straight eighths. This is called a "shuffle" feel, and the acoustic defines this feel right off the top of the tune. Keep your strums steady and relaxed.
Watch out for the variation in the first half of the second verse, where the guitars drop out and the vocal and percussion take over. This is a cool idea that gives the arrangement some dynamic contrast.
