Now that we have a riff and a basic verse progression, let's come up with a cool rhythm guitar part for the verse. For the IV chord we're going to reuse the blues rhythm pattern you learned in the previous tutorial, but this time we'll play it without the use of open strings; that way you can adapt it to any given key down the road. Then for the I chord we'll quote the riff, and for the turnaround we'll keep it simple and just play the open chords and let them ring.
