Description
Guitar 1 plays single note fills in between the vocal phrases of each verse. There are plenty of Billy Gibbons-isms here. Choke up on the pick to get squawky and chirpy, as well as the occasional pick harmonic. Palm muting is also a huge part of the sound.
Note the chord progression here, E to C#m, making the tune less bluesy and more poppy. The parts played here are a combination of short chirpy noises and sustained single notes. Also, notice how he is conscious to stay out of the way of the lead vocal, choosing to chime in the holes.
