Description
For these examples we'll use a slightly cleaner tone than we used in the previous tutorial. You want it to be clean, but break up just a little bit in order to add a little extra "dirt" to to the clean tone. The important thing here is that you can still hear all the individual notes of the barre chord. A good way to find this tone is by increasing your gain until it's too much, meaning the point where you start loosing the individual notes and having to simplify your voicings - and then going backwards from there.
I'll be using my Stratocaster on the neck pickup for these examples, giving me a warmer and more soothing sound than the aggressive bridge pickup sound we used in the previous tutorial.
