Description
An acoustic guitar lays down the foundation of the song starting in the intro. The strums are accented on beats 2, the and-of-3, and 4, with some light 8th note strumming in between. Keep your strumming even and relaxed, while accenting where you need to.
You move through the chord progression while holding the upper 3 notes of the open G chord, then switch to a descending single note line over the D and C chords.
The same chord progression is used throughout the guitar solo and outro sections, but is played much more wide open (full dynamic) and with the accents now on beats 1, the and-of-2, and the and-of-3. You will just be playing the chords in these sections (no single note line).
The very end of the tune features a descending single note line played ensemble with the rest of the band.
