Description

The chorus changes up the strumming pattern and adds a different progression. At first, you'll continue with the A and F#m progression, but with a different strumming rhythm played ensemble with the rest of the band. After 8 bars, we move to the D to E progression, and go back to the strumming pattern used in the verses.

Right before the solo section, there's a move to the E7 chord that sets up the return to the verse progression nicely. Note that in the outro, we never go to that E7 chord, but rather keep looping on the A to D progression during the fadeout.
