It's How You Play

So far we've covered the most basic parameters that you'll have with a basic electric guitar and amp setup. But if someone else picked up your gear with the tone you have dialed, it might sound completely different.

That's because a huge part of your tone comes from how you play. That's what I refer to, when I say that "tone is all in your fingers". This has to do with your choice of pick, how you attack the string, where you pick and many other factors that people often forget to consider when they talk about guitar tone.
