Description
Now we have all three patterns basic patterns that contain are the exact same notes, but they are played on different frets and strings. This results in the three main possible patterns that the minor scale forms on the guitar fretboard. Notice also the difference in timbre (the quality of sound) each pattern has from the other two.
We can continue shifting the notes over to other strings and wind up with the first pattern on the next set of strings!
