Hybrid Picking is an essential tool in the country guitarist's tool box. It is the sound that most modern country lead guitar is built on and is the Chet Atkins and Brent Mason style.
Hybrid Picking is simply playing with your pick and fingers at the same time. This can be done with a flatpick or with a thumbpick and the result is a whole lot of snap in your playing.
