Description
For Guitar 1, I’m using an acoustic guitar. Any acoustic guitar is suitable to play this tune. You’ll need to tune down your low string from E to D for Dropped-D tuning to play this song.
For Guitar 2, I’m using a Telecaster, but any electric guitar can be used. I’m using the bridge pickup for a bright, clear sound.
A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the electric tone in this tune. Dial in a clean sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 35%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.
Add reverb to all guitars for depth.
Since we’re in standard tuning, I’m using 11-52 on the acoustic with a medium pick. On the electric, I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick.
