This tune can be played on any electric guitar with a bridge humbucker and vibrato system. I’m using a Super Strat style guitar set for the bridge humbucker for power and clarity. The vibrato bar is used extensively in the solo section.

Any cranked up Marshall tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones in this tune. Dial in a basic crunch sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 80%, Bass to 75%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 55%, and Presence to 55%.

The clean guitar parts can be achieved by rolling down your volume knob on the guitar, or using a volume pedal to clean up the sound. Alternatively, if you have a channel switching amp, you could set one channel for a clean sound, with the other channel set for crunch and switch between them.

For Guitar 5, add a tube screamer for more gain and sustain to dig into the leads.
Guitar 1 uses a flanger effect for a distinct, swirling vibe. Guitars 2, 3, and 4 use a chorus effect to give a wider sound. There is also a wah wah pedal used in the solo for extra expressiveness.

Add reverb to all guitars for depth.

Since we’re in standard tuning, I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick.
