In this lesson we are looking at an A major scale with the root note A in the middle position. This means that the note A will be played by the middle finger and the other notes will be played on fretboard positions both higher and lower than the root note A.

Again we'll apply the pattern up an octave. This also requires a position shift sliding the index finger up from the 6th to th 7th degree.
