The recording features a 12 string acoustic guitar, but any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song. One with a brighter tone will help cut through the band mix a bit better.
For the electric, I’m using a Les Paul with the bridge pickup for a bright, clear tone, but any guitar is suitable.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for an overdriven crunch sound. Set the Drive to 75%, Bass to 50%, Mid to 50%, Treble to 65%, and Presence to 65%.

Both electric guitars are using a slap echo effect and reverb for depth. For the solo, kick in an overdrive pedal for more saturation and sustain.

I’m using 10-46 gage for the electric with a heavy pick. For the acoustic I’m using 11-52 string gage with a medium pick.

Here are the settings I used:
