I'm using a Les Paul electric guitar to play this tune, but any electric guitar will do the trick. Select the bridge pickup for a clear, powerful tone.

As far as amps go, any Modern high gain tube amp cranked up for a crunch tone is a desirable choice. Set the Drive to 60%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.

In the section leading into the bridge, the guitar switches to a heavier gain sound to build the dynamic. Either switch to a more saturated distortion channel on your amp, or kick in a distortion/overdrive pedal.

I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig into these strums when needed. Add some reverb for depth.

Here are the settings I used:

Mesa Dual Rectifier Model:

Drive: 60% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Tube Screamer:
Drive: 80% Tone: 40%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 30%
