Description
I'm using a Les Paul to play this song, but any electric guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position will sound great. The humbucker provides plenty of power and clarity, perfect for some bombastic power rock.
As far as amps go, any Marshall style tube amp is a desirable choice. Crank up the amp for a medium crunch sound. Set the Drive to 70%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.
I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig into the rhythms and leads.
Add some reverb for depth.
Here are the settings I used:
Marshall Plexi Model:
Drive: 70% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 35%
