All you will need to play this song is an electric guitar and an amp! The guitar tone on the original recording is very warm and clean with a touch of reverb. Today I am using I am using a Boss GS-10 amp simulator set to Fender Twin with a reverb set to 4. I am playing my Gibson Les Paul, set to the neck pick-up for warmth. I am playing with 10 gauge strings and a dunlop 1mm pick; I find that the nylon picks give me a warmer sound than plastic picks. Ultimately, any guitar and amp or amp-simulator will work. It's all a matter of what you have access to and to your personal taste and preference!
