After each verse, and after our bridge which features the same chord progression that we learned in our lessons; we have a pre-chorus section that is short and sweet, and happens three times in the song. Each time, this does a great job of taking us into the chorus.

Remember, it's played the same way all three times you hear it in the song. We are playing two chords during this section, each played for two bars. Those chords are Dsus2, and F6/9. You will continue playing with a steady eighth note pulse playing arpeggios, with the exception of the last bar of F6/9. There will simply strum the chord and let it ring for one measure leading into the chorus each time.

The pre-chorus is played the same away each time you hear it, and it's played after each of the two verses as well as after the bridge.
