To play this song you will need an electric guitar, an amp and some overdrive! For a nice vintage tone I always prefer a tube amp turned up for the natural tube break-up. However, there are many nice overdrive pedals and effects units out there that will give you a very good sound! Today I am playing my Ibanez artist, set to the bridge pick-up with 11 gauge strings and a Dunlop 1mm pick through a Boss GS-10 amp simulator. Ultimately any guitar and amp will do, the magic and tone ultimately lie in the playing.
