For the next two verses, we continue our hybrid picking using a variety of extensions and cool movements in the chords. Combining the two guitar parts, I am going to show you some of those tricks followed by a way that you can play these two verses just strumming along.

In the recording you hear a variety of movements over each chord, played by two guitars. There isn't really a consistent pattern, as both are playing pretty free and loose which sounds great. I have come up with a way to play this that gives you an intro to hybrid picking, while utilizing some of the licks from the song.

You will continue using these variations into the next verse, playing the same parts. After seven bars into the second verse, we have a bar of 2/4 where we will play our Bb chord using our A shape. After that you then play one bar of the Eb using our D shape before getting into the chorus. This makes our second verse an additional bar.

Experiment with these changes, utilizing the hybrid picking. If you want to just strum, you can do that as well. Simply play the open chords as you move through the chord progressions.
