So for the tones today we'll start out with a nice and "jangly" acoustic guitar; be sure to use a steel string acoustic to get that western type of sound. Also notice that there's a touch of reverb on the acoustic guitar to fill out some space. The acoustic guitar that plays the lead should sound exactly the same.

For the electric guitar we want a dry plucky tone. Almost a bit "quacky" but definitely not overdriven; it's a clean sound. I'm playing a hollow body guitar with p-90's, and I'm on the bridge pickup. I rolled off quite a bit of the low end for this tone; the settings I'm using are bass at 2, mids are set at 3, and the treble 6. This will of course vary depending on what type of gear you're using but think in terms of an old 60s tube amp that has a lot of clean punch.
