The chorus also is a two-parter. It starts off with a syncopated dotted quarter not rhythm, only with a short "chugging" feel using palm muting and releasing on the last note of the phrase.

The second part follows almost the same rhythm but now with power chords coming out of the aeolian mode: I, bIII, II, bVI.

Before moving on to the outro, it returns to the first part of the chorus.
