Description

The tune features a catchy and heavy main riff that plays in the intro and verse sections. The chord progression here is I, bIII, I, bVI. The really interesting thing here is to notice how the mood of the song changes depending on how you play the riff.

For example, the intro is very mellow and foreboding, as you are playing the riff wide open, but with a light touch and very little gain.
Next the verse feels more tense, as you play the riff with heavy palm muting.

The re-intros feel the most aggressive as you play the riff wide open with full amp gain. This is a great example on how tone and palm muting can drastically affect the mood and overall vibe of a tune!
