One cool thing about the song is that after the intro the song goes straight into the big chorus with this really big rocking electric guitar.
And once again you'll play D and G three times, and then A. And once again, the rhythm of the main strums is on the "one" and the "and" of two, so you get a feel of on the beat followed by an anticipation.
You'll repeat this twice and then the song goes to a sort of interlude that always happens between the choruses and the verses.
Be sure to not overplay this chorus, you really want to give the chords as much space as you can. Don't do extra strums or picking, the impact of the chorus is in the held out chords and the sing a long vocals.
