This tune features a ripping guitar solo chock full of great licks and tricks, using the A minor and A minor pentatonic scales. There are countless examples here though how you can highlight the underlying chords throughout. For example, the soloist always seems to find a way to highlight the D minor chord when it happens, the first time by playing a quick hammer on pull off lick using the minor 3 and 2 of D minor. Then he uses the D minor triad at the 10th fret next.

Always try to think about the chords that are happening underneath your solo section. If you can spell the notes to the chord, then you can target those notes in your solo.
